The company held a PDM launch kick-off meeting.

On June 26, the company held a PDM (Foreign Trade) Launch Kick-off Meeting, attended by Sun Guanjun, Chairman of Dongyu Hongxiang, Hu Peng, Executive President of the Project Implementation Company, project team members, and key users from design and technical departments.
The meeting reviewed the journey toward PDM implementation, which began in October 2022. Over a year and a half, the project involved numerous surveys and online/offline discussions, completing tasks such as software setup for PDM modules and blueprint development. A task-based interactive integration system was developed to meet the needs of multi-category products, multi-role collaboration, and multi-business models, finally reaching readiness for launch.
In his address, Chairman Sun Guanjun noted that to advance PDM implementation, the company established a dedicated PDM department to work with consulting teams, optimize processes for efficiency, and develop a replicable and scalable PDM system. This aims to solve pain points in the technical order decomposition process, achieve fast and accurate order fulfillment, and mark a critical step in the company’s digital transformation. He emphasized that the PDM launch is not an endpoint but a new beginning, calling for overcoming challenges and enhancing multi-level application training.
PDM (Product Data Management) is an end-to-end operational system integrating R&D, design, process engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance. By implementing PDM, the company seeks to improve production efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, and enable full lifecycle management of products. It will also strengthen efficient utilization of documents, drawings, and data, achieve real-time visualization in design and R&D, and in the future, integrate with smart devices and MES systems for seamless data connectivity—ensuring end-to-end digital collaboration across the supply chain.
