Shuyang Theater Command: Headquarters Empowers Research to Boost Digitalization Process

On July 10th, in order to promote the construction of the digital workshop at Shuyang Company, the IT department visited the company to conduct a business empowerment survey on the upcoming implementation of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in the workshop.

This survey focuses on the core production processes, covering multiple key positions such as planning, warehouse, production management, cost accounting, material, and BOM maintenance. The IT department conducted in-depth exchanges with the heads of the production department and frontline operational backbones, focusing on specific operational methods such as "creating work orders, processing production material issuance documents, production order receiving processes, special material substitution rules, surplus material management methods, and production report requirements." During the survey, key records and analysis were conducted based on the characteristics of the production of melamine impregnated film paper in Shuyang Company. Personnel from various positions actively cooperated, elaborated on the current work mode, and put forward specific expectations for the new system.

This empowerment research is a crucial step in the smooth implementation of the MES system. It not only precisely captures the current status and core needs of production management in Shuyang Company, but also provides detailed first-hand information for subsequent system blueprint design, functional configuration, and process optimization, thereby facilitating the company's digital production management process.
